The choke manifold is an important well control device for the implementation of near-balanced drilling in petroleum exploration.

The choke manifold controls casing pressure, maintains well pressure balance and realizes soft shut-in through pressure relief by a throttling valve. The choke manifold can be used in open flowing for the purpose of wellhead protection.
